Phillies broadcasts return to WPHT 1210 AM
This is great news. WPHT has a much stronger signal than the current flagship station WPEN 950. It'll be nice to be able to drive home from work without having to change stations partway through.

Critical Information
Buffy the Vampire Slayer is mentioned at least 33 times on NationalReview.com.

That doesn't include pages that reference her merely as Buffy. There are 55 pages that mention "Buffy".

I'm sure you're as excited about this as I am.

Democratic Underground Forums - Crashed Jet Should Have Held Former President
Here's some of the comments on the thread where the Democratic Underground discusses the plane that crashed prior to picking up our 41st President:

Seeing as GHW was in on the team that pulled the black op. (At the very least, he was in on setting up Oswald as the patsy, and was probably on the action team in Dallas.)

Everything that is coming down now, in a big way, began on that day in Dallas. It's taken them 40 years, but they've finally taken over the government et al.[Blaming "41" for the Kennedy assassination
...
Either they'll tie it to the Iranians or they'll tie it to some activist group on the left.Or use it as an excuse to impose martial law.
...
What are the odds...
that it was getting too hard to believe that only Dems went down in plane crashes so this is to shut that rumor up?

Another innocent crew sacrifices their lives for the new fascist cause?

(OK, time for our nay saying self avowed DU pilots(?) to provide us with oceans of brain numbing plausible denial.)
It all strikes me a very suspicious too....
A little too weird to be a coincidence.
I would bet that if anyone planned it, it was Daddy's little boy himself. Pop gave a very nice speech at Clinton's library opening, Bet it infuriated *, and this would have been a nice way to get even. If I ever saw a classic case of Oedipal envy, this is it.
[accusing him of trying to kill his dad? Is there no depth to their hatred?]
I think I know what's going on.

Bush was so worried that after he killed Mel Carnahan, Paul Wellstone, John Heinz, Larkin Smith, Mickey Leland, John Tower, Ku Sokomoto (sp?), Buddy Holly and Ailiya in plane crashes that people would begin to get suspicious, so he brought this plane down just to throw suspicion away from the obvious fact that he has been involved in every murder and accidental death in America for the last fifty years. People can no longer suspect him, since he was almost a victim.

Or I guess maybe he could have been trying to knock himelf off and accidentally had the plane fly into the lightpost a little too early.
...
That's the SECOND time he's bailed and let a crew die
Coincidence? Yeah, whatever
I'm really hoping that some of these are people having some fun at the lefties' expense. Because otherwise, these are some sick bastards.

THANK GOD BUSH IS IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is annoying, but I enjoyed it.

Quote-a-palooza
"I am for doing good to the poor, but I differ in opinion of the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it." --Benjamin Franklin

"The kingdom of God will not arrive on Air Force One no matter how good the President's character or great his ability. Don't get me wrong: Elections are important; the law is a moral teacher. But all the laws and political victories will not help us if we lose the culture. Our job is the same no matter who is in office: that is, to make serious disciples and to bring Christian truth to bear in all of life." --Chuck Colson

"The argument for liberty is not an argument against organization, which is one of the most powerful tools human reason can employ, but an argument against all exclusive, privileged, monopolistic organization, against the use of coercion to prevent others from doing better." --Fredrich August von Hayek

"Politics and morality are inseparable. And as morality's foundation is religion, religion and politics are necessarily related. We need religion as a guide. We need it because we are imperfect, and our government needs the church, because only those humble enough to admit they're sinners can bring to democracy the tolerance it requires in order to survive." --Ronald Reagan
